Sudan 1-1-15
You can click on the map to see a larger image. This map is kinda blurry and I will try to get a better one soon. On this map notice the darker border line that travels across the map from left to right. This is the 1-1-15 line that is said to somewhat divide Sudan. This is one of the main reasons that UNMIS is in the Sudan.
The Egyptian constitution of 1948 prepared the way for incorporate Sudan.
Sudan was a kingdom after 1951 when Faruk is proclaimed King of Sudan.
But against the annexionist policy, Great Britain defend the right of the self determination. After the revolution of 1952 the new government is agree with the Sudanese independence and 1953 autonomy was established. If flag was used I don't know. Parliament was opened 1954 and later proclaimed the independence that was effective 1-1-56 (1 Jan 1956).

OUCH!!!
Back at the CF Med clinic.....
5 needles and some more blood work!
All 5 needles given within 2 minutes..... I have to admit.. I had to recline in the chair for a few minutes...
I am now inoculated against Yellow Fever, Hep A plus a bunch of other stuff....
It was interesting to learn that the Yellow Fever shot is a Live agent, has to be administered by a Dr and has a habit of sending the patient into Anaphlatic Shock!
Yellow fever (YF) is a zoonotic hemorrhagic fever caused by a flavivirus transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Worldwide, 90% of YF cases occur in Africa. Symptoms can range from flu-like symptoms to gastrointestinal bleeding, organ failure and death. The disease gets its name from the yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice) that occurs when the virus attacks a patient’s liver. The death rate from yellow fever can be as high as 30 per cent. Yellow fever is transmitted to humans through daytime-biting mosquitoes—mainly the Aedes aegypti and Haemagogus species.
